Fun with the kids....yeah, right.
They are driving me crazy.... School has been out for approximately 27 hours and I am already about to pull my hair out. Why can they not figure out that we can do fun things if they will just behave? I wanted to take them to the store to do some shopping today and to a restaurant for lunch to celebrate the start of summer vacation. I had good intentions. Unfortunately they cannot seem to figure ot how to behave like people today. I feel like I am living in the monkey house at the zoo! My daughter just dove off the coffee table onto the loveseat about six feet away like she thinks she's a superhero. She knows this is wrong and has been told at least five times already to stop. The boys aren't behaving any better. I hope this is just them letting off steam from being in school for the last nine months. They had better adjust and get this out of their systems or they will have a miserable summer. I know I sound like the mean mom, at least that's what my kids think, but my house will not survive them for long if they keep this up.
I've been working on some new things for Ginger's Gems when I can get a spare minute. Resin castings are my new project. They're actually turning out pretty good. Still not good enough to sell (I'm a perfectionist), but I'm improving and soon I expect I will be offering resin items in my shop. I've been doing as much as I can to prepare for the craft fair I'm participating in at the end of June and I'm hoping I'll be ready. Lots and lots to do...
I listed some new earrings yesterday. They're called "Ophelia's Brook" because that's what they remind me of. They're made from sterling silver findings and beautiful Venetian millifiori style blue beads. I'll attatch a picture. Have a great day and visit me at Ginger's Gems. I'd love to have you.
